General Care:
- Charge and take care of your battery properly for a longer life.
- Our batteries are Promovec Lithium-ion, certified for safety (UN38.3).
Battery Types:
- Batteries can be hidden or mounted on the frame/rack, but all have the same internal system.
Performance Factors:
- Battery range is affected by:
- Terrain
- Riding style
- Tyre pressure
- User weight
- Temperature
- Smooth surfaces and properly inflated tyres use less power.
Charging Your Battery:
- Batteries are removable for indoor charging, similar to charging a phone.
- Fully charge a flat battery in 4-6 hours.
- You can charge the battery at any time, even after a short ride.
- Always charge after every ride to keep the battery ready.
- Do not charge below 0°C (32°F).
- Switch off the battery before charging if it has a switch.
- Charge on a non-flammable, dry surface away from heat and flammable materials.
- Only use the supplied charger.
- Recharge monthly even if not in use.
Battery Activation:
- New batteries need to be fully charged to activate. This may have been done by the dealer.
Storage Tips:
- Store batteries in a dry place between 15-25°C (59-77°F).
- Charge the battery before long-term storage and once a month thereafter.
- Avoid storing in extreme temperatures or high moisture.
Charger Care:
- Plug the charger into the battery before switching on the mains.
- Switch off the mains before unplugging the charger.
- Do not leave the charger connected permanently.
Safety Precautions:

- Immerse in liquid
- Expose to temperatures over 60°C (140°F)
- Short circuit the battery connections
- Leave the battery unattended while charging
- Sleep near a charging battery
